Stefan spent most of his 20+ year career in credit related topics, managing distressed debt for Merrill Lynch, in charge of the European non-performing loan group for Credit Suisse and later transitioning to the asset allocation side, as the managing director of the Kuehne Holding family office, continuing to advise other European family offices on their fixed income allocation.He studied Finance at Munich University, did his PhD at the Technical University of Darmstadt in illiquid asset modeling and a post grad in Macroeconomics and Monetary Policy at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
Director of Impact
Katryn is a New York-based consultant on early-stage initiatives with a social or environmental commitment. She co-founded the tech startup Rabble, which connected Americans to new impact investment opportunities. Prior to Rabble, Katryn directed strategic development at InTrust Global Investments, an advisory firm supporting Mexico’s indigenous areas. She also worked on development finance at the Washington-based Emerging Markets Private Equity Association and at the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”). Prior to 2014, Katryn focused on global water challenges, with time at the policy-think tank CSIS, and the United Nations.Katryn received an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a BA from University of Pennsylvania.
Junior Legal Counsel
Sarah is the Directorate Officer at the Austrian Farmer’s Association (Bauernbund). Previously she clerked at the Criminal Court and District Court of Civil Law and worked in several legal departments in the research and development sector. Later, she moved to the public sector and worked for the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in their respective Attache divisions.She holds a Magister Iuris from the University of Salzburg, a Diploma in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and is a PhD Candidate at the University of Innsbruck.
Christopher is CTO and co-founder of the Vienna-based startup Trality and has an experienced background in a variety of technical areas. He started his career in the area of machine learning working in previous startups and is passionate about building technologically challenging, consumer-facing solutions.He holds master's degrees from the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and CEMS.
Sidney is a seasoned dev-ops and system architect with over 9 years of experience working in financial technology. His work focused on functional design, system architecture, developer-operations liaison, UX, UI, and project management.He is also a qualified coffee cupping expert certified by the Coffee Quality Institute, and founder of a coffee supply chain management platform currently in stealth mode in Nairobi.
Senior Legal Counsel
Anthony was a Director of Credit Suisse in New York and in London, a Managing Director and General Counsel of GE’s Capital Markets Group, a Managing Director of Patomak Global Partners, a regulatory compliance consulting firm, General Counsel of a finance company, and a Director at Nomura Securities International. Anthony started his career as a corporate finance associate at a major international law firm.He has a B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Virginia.
Maximilian M. Meduna
Director of Strategy
Max is managing a portfolio of projects at the Policy Unit of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). Previously, at other international organisations, Max led efforts on strategic planning and impact-focused management as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, worked on private sector development at the World Bank, peace operations and organised crime at the United Nations, subnational governance at New York University Abu Dhabi, and headed the global trends unit at the International Peace Institute.He holds master’s degrees from the Johns Hopkins University SAIS, the Diplomatic Academy and the University of Vienna.
Andrea has worked in international affairs and conflict resolution for the last twenty-five years. She is currently Senior Advisor to the International Dialogue Centre and board member of the Ban Ki-moon Center for Global Citizens.Her previous roles in global organizations include the position of Senior Director of the International Peace Institute and, among other board and leadership positions, President of the UN Delegates Association and Vice President of the Women’s International Forum. Andrea lived in Damascus, Dakar, New York, and Vienna.She is married to Gerhard Pfanzelter, former Permanent Representative of Austria to the United Nations.
Mr Møller has over 40 years of experience in leadership positions in the United Nations. He served as Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva as well as Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Disarmament and personal representative of the Secretary-General to the conference.Mr Møller is president of the Diplomatic Forum of the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator Foundation, principal advisor at Macro Advisory Partners and member of the boards of several foundations, including the Kofi Annan Foundation, where he previously served as Executive Director.
Mr Sy is the former Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). He currently serves as Chair of the Board of the Kofi Annan Foundation and Co-Chair of the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board.Previously, Mr Sy held leadership positions with UNICEF, the United Nations Development Programme in New York, with the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and with UNAIDS. Before joining the United Nations, Mr Sy served as Director of Health and Development Programmes with Environment and Development Action in the Third World in Dakar, Senegal.
Mr Cleary is the Founder of the FutureWorld Foundation, Chairman of Strategic Concepts (Pty) Ltd, and a Director of Companies. He served in the South African Navy before a diplomatic career in the Middle East, United States and Namibia. As Chief Director in Namibia, he initiated negotiations between all political parties, the release of political prisoners and adoption of a justiciable Bill of Rights. He was a member of the Facilitating and Preparatory Committees for the National Peace Accord in South Africa and chaired the Working Group on the Code of Conduct for Political Parties.He is on the Faculty of the Parmenides Foundation and lectures on global corporate strategy, conflict resolution and development. He serves on several advisory councils, including the Club de Madrid, EIT-Climate-KIC, and the Carnegie Artificial Intelligence and Equality Initiative.
Mr Sheldrick is a Co-Founder and Chief Policy, Impact and Government Relations Officer at Global Citizen. Working with world-famous artists and leaders, he spearheaded campaigns that have raised over $35 billion over the past decade towards ending extreme poverty. Through other campaigns he led, $118 million were raised towards ending polio and 26 million vaccines were committed for developing countries.Mr Sheldrick also serves as board member for the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens and the Advisory Board of Parliamentarians for the Global Goals. He holds degrees in law and political science from the University of Western Australia, and was 2013 Young Western Australian of the Year.
Orpa has spent the last few years working as a management consultant across various industries focusing on strategy projects, ranging from M&A executions & integration to strategic communications. With her international upbringing, she brings a globalised perspective and a deep passion for creating an impact in underserved communities.Orpa holds a BA in Psychology and Economics from the University of British Columbia and is currently pursuing her MBA at the University of St. Gallen.

As the first full-time employee for aable, the CEO will wear multiple hats and have significant discretion in decision-making. The primary responsibility of the CEO is creating the operational systems, digital & financial products, and go-to-market strategy to bring aable from a proven pilot to a growing business. Because we straddle multiple industries, relevant industries include (but are not limited to); management consulting, financial services, venture capital, impact investing, digital tech startup, and humanitarian operations. Experience operating in emerging markets – from an entrepreneurial or investment perspective – is a plus.✅ 5+ years of building high-caliber products or teams from the ground-up
